How to use
Choose a category and 1–20 topics, then select Generate topics. Use one question for a speaking turn or several for a group discussion. Copy topics copies the current questions, one per line. Changing the category generates new results; Generate topics replaces the current batch.
Try a 60-second impromptu speech
Take this Choices question: “Would you rather master one skill or try many at a basic level, and why?” Use your phone’s timer if helpful. Spend the first 10 seconds stating your choice, the next 35 giving a concrete example, and the last 15 explaining what might change your mind.
For example: “I would master cooking first. Being able to make a reliable meal would help me every day. Trying lots of hobbies sounds fun, but I would choose breadth later, once I had that useful foundation.” Aim for a clear point, not a perfect performance.
Using topics with a group
Everyday starts with familiar situations; Classroom focuses on learning and collaboration; Imagination invites hypothetical ideas; Choices asks people to weigh alternatives. Preview a topic before assigning it. Let participants pass, adapt it to their English level, and ask one follow-up question after each answer.
Are these topics generated by AI each time?
No. The tool randomly selects from 60 original, editorially written questions stored with this site. It has no AI API, factual research or personalization. The topics ask for discussion rather than providing authoritative answers.
Will I see repeated topics?
No question repeats within a batch. Later batches may reuse questions. Each category contains 15 questions; if you ask for more than that, you receive the available 15 and a status explanation. Choose All categories for a larger batch.
